About the Captain Ryan Phaneuf Memorial Fund
The Captain Ryan Phaneuf Memorial Fund, founded in July 2021, aims to remove financial barriers for students serving our nation. The fund provides competitive, need-based scholarships to JROTC students pursuing a baccalaureate degree for military accession or aviation experience.
Captain Phaneuf was a gifted U.S. Air Force pilot with over 1,200 flight hours, and his dedication to helping others was a hallmark of his career. Tragically, he lost his life on January 27, 2020, while deployed in support of OPERATION FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. His legacy lives on through this memorial fund, which continues his mission to inspire and support future generations of aviators.
